Standard steel backplate used for diving in Japan. We like the HOG Back Plate and Wing systems (BP/W), not only because they are completely modular. A Backplate and Wing system helps with a better trim as well. Ultimately resulting in less drag and better air consumption. This steel "silver" version is the most common option for diving in Japan in combination with use of 5mm wetsuit for added weight.
Unlike a traditional jacket or vest style BCD, each part can be replaced individually if worn out or damaged.
The HOG 32lb Wing is the ideal choice for single cylinder diving. The 32lb wing can be used with or without a Single Tank Adapter (STA) by simply using cam bands fitted through the back plate and wing. The tank feels more stable with the STA option but if you do not need it, you can save some money.
Package includes the BLACK aluminium backplate, 32lb black wing and 2 metal tank cam bands. Single Tank Adaptor is possible to add as an option.
